Locating Restoration Parts

Many parts are available as reproductions. Try these restoration parts suppliers.
Your local GM parts dealership can still order certain parts for older vehicles. Get the part number from an assembly manual and give it at try. Reprints of assembly manuals are often available from the above mentioned restoration parts suppliers. They also provide valuable information about how the parts fit together.
I also have some GM part numbers listed on my Nova parts interchange page (look for them in the specific year listings).
Classic Muscle is the restoration parts division of the Modern Chevrolet dealership. They sell lots of original GM parts for older cars. They also sell used and reproduction parts for items that are no longer available from GM.
Junk yards, salvage yards, and swap meets are often good sources for parts that are no longer available from the above sources. However yards in some areas don't have a whole lot of older vehicles left.
Online classified ad pages are another great source for parts.
